Trivia:
This jacket was first worn in the film Von Ryan's Express and featured Frank Sinatra portraying Colonel Joseph L. Ryan. Released on June 23, 1965, this movie features an A-2 jacket that was purportedly made in the studio props department (Source: "Made in America: From Levi's to Barbie to Google" by Nick Freeth) and later handed to Robert (Bob) Crane who brought it to fame in the television series "Hogan's Heroes" which ran from 1965 to 1971. After Crane's death in June 29, 1978, the jacket was acquired by Crane's son - Robert David Crane.

In the 2002 movie "Auto Focus" Robert David Crane portrays a reporter who interviews "Robert Crane" (played by Gregg Kinnear). Robert David Crane let Kinnear borrow the famous jacket while filming this movie.
