FILMJACKETS.COM 'Up Close Series' presents...

This is our brand new section where we correspond with the vendors in any manner that we can. It may be visits, phone conversations, pictures, interviews or any other method of communication that we can think of. We hope that you find them as enjoyable to read as we do to bring them to you...

A few things first. Whenever a purchase is made, we are not making any comments, claims or other remarks about pricing unless the vendor is offering a special or the article is specifically price related. For example, if we were contacted because of a close-out sale, or if we are being offered and exclusive story where FILMJACKETS.COM members get a reduced rate for a product. We are trying to keep the 'Up Close Series' non-competitive in that respect.

Next, whenever possible, we will try to include pictures. Many vendors may not want pictures taken of their facility - especially if they are using proprietary techniques or products. But whenever possible, pictures will be included since it lends an air of friendliness to the experience and of course, it breaks up the monotonous page of paragraphs.

Finally, when a new "Up Close Series" article is added - there will be several areas to let you know that the page has been updated. First, the main page  will have a link to the new article. Then the Vendor Corner category in the forums may have information about the visit or pictures that are related to the experience, but did not necessarily fit into the article. At the end of each article, you are invited to send feedback about that particular story. Please feel free to add any suggestion or comments that will make this section better and more interesting to readers. After all, that is why it is here.
