"X2: X-Men United" Jacket (Wolverine)

We have all had those defining moments when we noticed a film personality on the silver screen wearing a fantastic leather jacket. Or maybe you fell in love with James Dean’s iconic red windbreaker. You thought it looked so great and you knew someday you would have one just like it. This is a forum to discuss those jackets.

There are 2 X2 jackets on Dan's E-bay account. They say made by Vanson of soft Cowhide and are under the Legacy label. Is there any discussion on the difference between that hide and the normal competition weight?

Not sure, but I have the Legacy DOFP and it is not as thick as most cycle jackets. Still a quality leather.
Honestly if you were in the market for one of those, and had the cash, I'd grab it. They are readily available, as opposed to a multiple year wait.

D,

Where are you located?
USA or abroad?

If you are state side, it may behoove you to contact Dan.
Ask seller a question on ebay.
I had him send me a jacket so I could check it out in the past.
You will only be out the shipping costs if you decide you don't like it.
You may need to front the cost for insurance reasons, since it is so pricey.
He may not do this at all anymore, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

My 2 cents.

Hey guys
I thought I would step in here and set the record straight

It's just a name change. Logan's Closet is becoming Legacy. Those jackets up on eBay are still made by Vanson using the same leathers. If you have any specific questions send them my way and I will get in touch with Dan. I have to call him anyway this evening.

I've e-mailed Dan a few times through the site but never heard back. Been trying to get a lighter weight XO for a while now. I know he made one for somebody as comp weight is just too heavy for SoCal.

Hey brother
I saw you sent me a PM in my inbox here. I have to go in and clear some old messages out before I can open it to see it. But that should not be a problem what you asked for. It's just the damn wait times with Vanson.
