"X3: The Last Stand" Logan/Wolverine Jacket

We have all had those defining moments when we noticed a film personality on the silver screen wearing a fantastic leather jacket. Or maybe you fell in love with James Dean’s iconic red windbreaker. You thought it looked so great and you knew someday you would have one just like it. This is a forum to discuss those jackets.

I'm going to just come out and say it: The LC X3 looks better than the OLF X3.

I always find the pre-curved sleeves on the OLF to be abit too baggy and exaggerated, and too much materials across the shoulder and upper back where the sleeves meet the torso. The LC X3 looks just right.

I agree, and if I had not ordered mine from OLF I would definitely have picked up the LC. But there is something magical about getting it from the original maker. So baggy sleeves be damned, I love my jacket.

i think everyone seems to forget that everyone is a different build to hugh jackman

these jackets wether its a LC or a OLF will not fit you like the screen worn one unless you are the same build as him(or close) and wear higher pants like hugh wore (most people wear low hipster type jeans these days)

so don't judge these jackets if you see / or see a picture of a guy with short arms and a fat belly thats 5ft5 lol......... it won't look the same

same as when you look at dan in that jacket looks good on him...........that doesn't mean we will look like that or the jacket will wear on us like that

every jacket is made to the owners size so they all look different and have more or less room in certain areas compared to the screen worn jacket
if i put super-glue in a non stick frying pan whose lying??????????

What you said is very true. I'm sure the jacket was tailored to Jackman by OLF. But I can't help but notice something consistent with the OLF X3 jacket's cut that present's on all the jackets I'd seen in the member section:

- The pre-curved sleeves is cut in more of the shape of a semi-circle, instead of a curved tubes that follows the arms

- Bunching of materials at the shoulder, where the sleeves meets the body of the jacket between the gusset. This is present on Dan's version also, but not as prominent.

I understand that these features are to facilitate for the riding position on a motorcycle. It's more for practicality than for aesthetic. But in a natural standing position this could throw off the fit of the jacket, making it seem abit baggy and sloppy.

These observations were made from the photos I'd seen here only. I can be 100% wrong in that the jacket looks completely different when in motion.

i think i know what your getting at the bigger guys would have more leather draped around there chest and mid section and when unzipped it will fall back like drapes and go baggy around the arm pit area and below....... mine dose not do this but i still don't look like hackman lol

you can see with my arm bent in the last picture there is perfect amount of leather there and the jacket is made/cut for a a motorcycle stance but this really docent effect it when worn normally......thats my findings with it

there are some pictures of dan wearing a OLF and it looks like it fit's him perfectly in those pictures he is the closest to highs sizing out of any of the pictures on the net that iv seen so far and that jacket was not even made for him lol

im 5'8

took these tonight

I know this has been asked before but is the T-shirt that Dan is wearing available? I don't see it at Logan's Closet.

Currently awaiting a slightly lighter weight X3 from Dan, should almost be ready now though have been a bit lacking in updates on it, but if it's half as good as expected it'll be worth the wait! Some great looking X3s in this topic from several companies it has to be said!
