"Fight Club" Tyler Durden Jacket 2

We have all had those defining moments when we noticed a film personality on the silver screen wearing a fantastic leather jacket. Or maybe you fell in love with James Dean’s iconic red windbreaker. You thought it looked so great and you knew someday you would have one just like it. This is a forum to discuss those jackets.

Jonathan A Logan posted a blog on jacket care. You shouldn't have to do anything with it really, its natural oils will look after it.

The blog can be found here. let me know if you don't have access etc and i'll cut and past it for you

Glad you've bought the jacket. Let me know what its like, post pics, cos i might pick up one myself.

Got it. Unfortunately I think its a bit small. Its tight around and the chest, although I will wear it open, and I feel it is a little bit short... What do you guys think should I sell it or return it for a XL??

Got photos, got delivered at around 5:30pm so light was not the best.

As for accuracy, its not 100%, i like it even more as you can see more of my t shirt underneath. Still its pretty bad ass and for a good price USD$200. Do you guys think its a good fit or not. I may be willing to sell it for USD$150 + Postage

Yeah it should be a little longer in the body but not the sleeves. What size is it? Large? I say send it back for a larger size. its just easier than listing it etc.

Was it one off ebay?

Yeah Ultimo Fashions.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... TQ:US:1123

The sizing's are in the listing. I cant even do it up to the top of my neck. Looks like I'll have to get an XL. I took these photos ASAP. I'll post up another one when im not wearing my workout kit underneath. Ill chuck some jeans on and wear it properly, Ill have a photo up in about 3 hours.

Edit: This is the response I got from Ultimo: " Length of the jacket varies according to the size. The rule of thumb is biker jackets (which your jacket is) are about 2 inches shorter than Sleeves and the Sleeves measurements are given in the chart." So what size should I go for? XL or XXL or ask him to add an extra inch to the bottom of an XL??

Saw this on a local auction site, but what in the world is it? As a replica, it doesn't look very ... accurate  ... but I was wondering whether any of you recognized it. Something from an obscure eBay seller, or something else?

I believe that jacket is one from city discounts. I purchased one a few years ago on ebay. The red is actually more of a maroon but not a bad jacket. It is not very screen accurate at all but I purchased mine before I became obsessive. Hope this helps.

Where is a place to get the black version of this jacket.. Im not so much into it being as SA but more of a nice looking jacket.. I would prefer it be a little heavier, I live in TN and it gets pretty cold during the winter.. Snowing just recently lol

Who is the best place to buy the Fight Club 2 jacket? the black one with white stripes. Hanson has it for $149, not sure of the quaility, then theirs Soul Revolver and Magnoli. Looking for it onthe heavier jacket than lightweight.

get it from MAGNOLI.. Order it in black with cow hide.. More costly but it'll be heavier...
