"The Dark Knight" Bruce Wayne Jacket

We have all had those defining moments when we noticed a film personality on the silver screen wearing a fantastic leather jacket. Or maybe you fell in love with James Dean’s iconic red windbreaker. You thought it looked so great and you knew someday you would have one just like it. This is a forum to discuss those jackets.

Found the Logan's Closet version on eBay size 42. Anyone know how they fit? I'm usually a 42-44 depending on the brand. Post Says Measures 21 inches across chest; 28 inches top to bottom; 19 inches across shoulders and 25 1/2 inches top and 16 inches under shoulder seam to cuff. A little smaller then what I like, but wondering if it is worth a try.

If you're usually a 42 chest it should fit fine....but I'm surprised with the chest mesurement, it looks very tight for a Vanson 42 !!!

Hey guys, so this post yesterday.
I will try to reach out to Dan tonight, had a tough time doing that lately. He should have the best answer on whether not it will fit you properly. Louie, go ahead and PM me on the side with your measurements and that will help us out even further.

But for the price that this jacket is currently at, it is a complete steal.

"28 inches top to bottom" Huh? Thought this was a short jacket?

That threw me off a bit too. It should be 27 inches. The seller may have ordered this custom. Or added custom elements.

Even 27 inches seems long for this jacket. I would have guessed no more than 25" back length, especially on this jacket.

Well, might be a mistake but I won the bid. At the price probably worth the risk. I'll let you guys know how it works out.

Brother
At that price, it was totally worth the risk. Let us know how it turns out. Fingers crossed that the seller took the measurements incorrectly.

Well the gamble didn't quite pay off. The length and arms are perfect, but the chest is too tight. I can choose to either zip it up or be able to breathe and move. The jacket is amazing though badly makes me want to track down one that fits. The real kicker is I checked the pocket and it had a tag from Value Village for $45 and said mens leather jacket. That's quite the find if he did get it from Value Village.

I think what he meant is that this jacket was picked up at Value Village, which is a thrift store, for the princely sum of $45. How a Logan Closet jacket ended up at a thrift store is beyond me :wtf:

Maybe it was a part of an estate. They probably just cleared everything out and donated the jacket.

Right, pretty sure the jacket was picked up at the thrift store Value Village. Beautiful jacket, just wish it was a bit bigger in the chest.
