It is possible to send the jacket back to Vanson and have them install the stripes. Of course there is a fee. I'll see what Dan (Logan's Closet) says.

I do not believe you can buy a House, M.D. jacket directly via Vanson as they are exclusive from Logan's Closet. So I believe you have received a standard Model B jacket.

Vanson will make the Model B jacket with the Star jacket stripes, but the stripes are slightly thinner than the House, MD jacket stripes. That is what I did years ago. Of course, they will not apply the patches, as that would make it a House, M.D. jacket.

When you said you ordered the patches, did you order them from me directly? I had three orders to France in May, but none in June. I do supply Vanson, but since they are only selling via Logan's Closet, I am not clear on what you asked for.

Did you want the base jacket from Vanson and you were going to apply the patches yourself, maybe?

Please be patient with us. We will get to the bottom of things and work it out.

Where are you located? The stripes may be expensive when you add shipping both ways and then labor. Maybe half as much as the jacket to begin with.

After reading this I understand you did not order from Vanson OR Logans Closet. Anyone else trying to sell a House, MD. jacket is full of merde since you will not be getting the genuine Vanson. The only alternative I can think of is if Dan is selling to another vendor, then it could happen.

Indeed, i receive a standard Model B jacket and yes, i ordered the patches from you, i'm still have your envelope, around May (i ordered the patches before to have order the jacket because i was afraid they were no longer available). I'm going to apply the patches myself on the jacket (myself, not really, i will ask to a leather specialist), but to have my House's jacket replica complete, i need the stripes that i didn't have.

I can definitely put in a word for you at Vanson if you wanted to send them the jacket and patches. I'm sure I can get you a discount on having the proper stripes and patches added for you.

Another option is a possible exchange for a proper House jacket with stripes, but that would be a bit of a wait time for you.

I don't know what you have paid for the jacket without stripes, but if you are from Europe (i.e. paying €€€ for shipping and duties) and prepared to wait for a few months, it _could_ pay out to put yours up on ebay.fr and get a new, proper one with stripes and patches from Logan's Closet.

Ok the part in italic had me laughing Rick. I hate to brake this to you and Dan but Logan's Closet isn't the only official place to buy a Model B 'House jacket'' with star stripes. kidding!

It is very recent Rick.The price is still better at Logan's closet.

Just want to show the jacket after wearing it for a few months... Although technically this is just Model B with the arm stripes..

I bought it last year April .. didn't wear it that much since I live in a tropical area.. but I did get to shower in it, used some alcohol and wiped off some shine.. However, since I am studying in london now I wear this jacket pretty frequently... Thanks again for Dan The Man for the great help when buying this jacket, great service too! Also thanks Rick for the advice on leather dressings....although I have yet to apply to this jacket yet ..

I have a love/hate relationship with this jacket.. on one hand it's so god damn heavy sometimes your shoulder feels abit stressed haha but on the other hand it's such a great looking jacket and provides me great comfort in the wind....
